We are lay consecrated women, living in the world according to the evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity and obedience: a triad which leads men and women to go beyond themselves, to be in the world, open to dialogue in a welcoming and responsible attitude.
“To be in the world” by loving it. By welcoming it the way it is, without judging it, dialoguing with it, walking together with it, in order to acknowledge, with joy and thanksgiving, its positive aspects and to be attentive to its needs and reasons.
“To be in the world” as evangelical salt, yeast and light, without expecting any reward and without any arrogance, like Mary. "To be in the world” by sharing the same bread and the same lot with responsibility and love. “To be in the world” not as conformists, but inside history, as strangers, walking toward the others. |
